Industry Events Highlight Industry’s Importance

NBAA2014 Offers Opportunity to Share No Plane No Gain Message
In addition to its role as the premier annual showcase for the international business aviation industry, NBAA’s upcoming Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (BACE) also serves as an effective and highly visible platform to highlight the message of No Plane No Gain and business aviation productivity. Among the more than 25,000 attendees expected at NBAA2014 in Orlando, FL will be more than 400 representatives with major national and international media organizations, who will report on presentations by influential lawmakers such as Delaware Gov. Jack Markell (D). A leading advocate for aviation in his state, Markell will speak at the event’s second day Opening General Session on Oct. 22 about the 15,500 jobs and nearly $1 billion in annual revenue that general aviation, including business aviation, bring to his state. Setting the Record Straight about Industry

No Plane No Gain Survey Informs Positive Feature Piece on Business Aviation
Highlighting the role of business aviation as a critical tool and time-enhancer for companies is a hallmark of No Plane No Gain, as well as the message in a recent Business Insider feature emphasizing that business aircraft are, above all, highly effective tools for a variety of companies. “It all comes down to saving time, which means saving money,” the feature stated, further noting that in addition to saving time at the airport, travel times are also significantly reduced on business aircraft able to fly directly to their destinations. The article also noted a 2009 survey – commissioned by NBAA and GAMA for the No Plane No Gain program – found those interviewed rated themselves as 20% more productive while on company aircraft than in the office, while those flying commercial airliners said their productivity dropped by 40%.
