Sr. Sales Representative Wanted at Aviall, Inc. in Van Nuys, CA
Job Description and Primary Purpose of Position:
Represent Aviall to all levels of customers in the North American Sales aviation market including, but not limited to the following: FBO’s, Corporate Flight Departments, Regional Airlines, Brokers, FAA part 145 repair stations, FAA part 135 flight departments and Flight schools. To efficiently and professionally handle customer inquiries and represent Aviall and its total line of products.
This position requires the use of time and territory management, and sales skills learned at Aviall provided classes. Customers will be seen on a scheduled basis to ensure sales and GM$ targets are met, as well as maintaining expense parameters. This position is the front line face-to-face contact between Aviall and our customers. This position is important for the early detection of customer problems and opportunities. This position is also important to determine and communicate strategy, sales promotions, pricing, market coverage, terms of sale, and requires a great deal of versatility to call on the variety of markets served by Aviall.
Minimum Qualifications: ——————————————————————————-
Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in Business, Sales, Marketing or Aviation; or 4 years of job related experience
Typically requires 4 years customer service, inside sales or maintenance experience in the
aerospace/aircraft parts sales, distribution and/or manufacturer industry
Advanced PC skills; analytical skills; excellent written and verbal communications skills
Preferred Qualifications: ——————————————————————————-
2 years outside sales experience in the aerospace/aircraft parts sales,
distribution and/or manufacturer industry
A&P certification and/or Private Pilot License
